Amar Gampa

Amar is a co-founder and Managing Director of Smart Rotomac, a 600-person R&D firm based in Hyderabad, India specializing in hardware and software engineering solutions for leading innovative products covering many industries, including wearables.

Amar has over 20 years of experience leading global engineering teams, including working at Motorola where he led the team that was instrumental in building the Iridium satellite handset and other mobile phones used around the world.

Amar received a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
