Colin Doylend

Colin specializes in creating strategic partnerships between government and companies developing and manufacturing innovative technologies and products. He has a focus on accessing R&D funding and regulatory support from Canada’s federal and provincial levels of government.

Colin got his start by leading a successful campaign for Sam Sullivan, a quadriplegic who went on to serve as Mayor of Vancouver. Following this success, Colin then served as Chief of Staff to several British Columbia Ministries including Tourism, Sport and the Arts, Labour and Citizens’ Services, Education, and Indigenous Affairs.

Colin now advises a variety of clients including the most progressive First Nations in BC, as well as private-sector tech companies. He recently secured government funding for Nexii Building Solutions, which set the fastest pace recorded for a Canadian company to reach a billion dollars in value.

Colin holds a BA in political science from Simon Fraser University. He lives in Victoria, B.C.
